CDL have been supplying logistics companies in Bristol and the surrounding areas for over 20 years. We are currently looking for HGV 1 night drivers to cover ad-hoc contracts.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently
- Completing relevant paperwork relating to deliveries and collections
- Communicating with clients to ensure timely deliveries and collections
- Navigating road closures and re-routes efficiently
This position requires the following:
- Full category C+E licence
- Valid driver qualification card (CPC)
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Right to work in the UK
- Good communication skills
Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner, have a positive attitude towards work and be able to work with time-sensitive deliveries/collections.
