CDL Recruitment are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Drivers for its clients operation based in Marshfield SN14.
This is a full time, temp to perm role.
- HGV 2 experience required
- Road sweeper experience is not essential as the client will provide training
Shift pattern:
Monday to Friday from 06:00 to finish (minimum of 47.5 hours per week).
About the role:
- Operate a road sweeper to clean streets, building sites, carparks and other designated areas
- To always be able to legally undertake your driving duties
- To ensure your vehicle is roadworthy before and during use.
- To maintain communication with the Operations office regarding progress of daily work.
- To complete all relevant paperwork correctly.
- To report any incidents and accidents immediately to the operations Team.
- To ensure legal requirements for your hours and working time regulations are complied with
- To always ensure that work is carried out in a responsible and safe manner with no detriment to the Company or its Customers
Who you are:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence (Class 1 / C+E also welcome)
- Driver CPC and Digi Tachograph card
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Someone reliable, organised, and capable of working using their own initiative.
- Experience of the waste management or construction industry desirable
- Attention to detail
- Be a team player with good communication and customer service skills
