Job Description CDL has been meeting the staffing needs of transport and warehouse businesses for over 20 years. We are currently looking for HGV 1 drivers to cover ad-hoc contracts in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
The Role
Day and night shifts available. Flexible, ad-hoc assignments to suit your availability.
Opportunities with well established companies in and around BristolResponsibilities include; Completing vehicle checks and reporting defectsProviding a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficientlyCompleting relevant paperwork relating to deliveries and collectionsNavigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveriesCommunicating well with clients and customersRequirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations. A professional and reliable attitude.
No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN convictions).Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner, have a positive attitude towards work and be able to work with time-sensitive deliveries/collection
