We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our Clients team based in Horsham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for consistent weekday work with local routes and no weekend commitments.
Job Overview:
This role involves completing two loads per day, delivering goods to local depot locations. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of loads while maintaining excellent driving standards and professionalism when representing the company.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00am start times
- Day shifts only
- No regular weekend work
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing two deliveries per shift to local depot locations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork where required
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Forklift or Moffett experience ideal
- Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
