Transport Planner – Tilbury Docks πŸš› Location: Tilbury, Essex Salary: Β£35,000 – Β£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time Job Type: Permanent Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for your next challenge in a busy port environment? We’re seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our clients logistics team based at Tilbury Docks. Role Overview: As a Transport Planner, you’ll be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective planning of daily transport operations, ensuring all deliveries are met on time and in line with compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan and allocate routes for a fleet of HGVs and drivers Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse teams Monitor transport operations and resolve issues quickly Ensure compliance with driver hours, tachograph, and transport legislation Maintain accurate records using transport management systems Requirements: Previous experience in transport planning (HGV curtainsider experience preferred) Strong organisational and communication skills Working knowledge of UK transport regulations Proficiency in TMS software and Microsoft Office Calm under pressure with problem-solving ability What We Offer: Salary between Β£35,000 and Β£40,000 per year Monday to Friday working – no weekends 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Company pension Career development opportunities Friendly, professional team environment
