The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established portable toilet and waste management company based in Rainham, Essex, is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join their operations team. This is a varied role offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a growing business.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing 23 jobs per day, supporting the delivery, collection, and servicing of portable sanitation units and waste systems across customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle to customer locations
- Emptying septic tanks safely and efficiently
- Collecting and transporting portable toilet (portaloo) units
- Cleaning tanks and portable toilet units to required hygiene standards
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
- Completing relevant paperwork and daily vehicle checks
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
- Willingness to undertake manual work and work outdoors
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
