Pay Rates:

  • £17.00 per hour (6:00am - 4:00pm)
  • £17.50 per hour (after 4:00pm)
  • £20.00 per hour (weekends)

Hours: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established portable toilet and waste management company based in Rainham, Essex, is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join their operations team. This is a varied role offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a growing business.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing 23 jobs per day, supporting the delivery, collection, and servicing of portable sanitation units and waste systems across customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle to customer locations
  • Emptying septic tanks safely and efficiently
  • Collecting and transporting portable toilet (portaloo) units
  • Cleaning tanks and portable toilet units to required hygiene standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
  • Completing relevant paperwork and daily vehicle checks
  • Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
  • Willingness to undertake manual work and work outdoors
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
