CDL Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Container Drivers on behalf of a highly respected client based in Southampton. We are looking for professional, reliable drivers with proven container experience who are seeking regular, ongoing work with excellent rates of pay. Whether you're looking for day shifts, night shifts or tramping, we have opportunities to suit your preference.

The Role

As a Class 1 Container Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of shipping containers to ports, distribution centres and customer locations.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous container driving experience is essential
  • A good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
  • Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
  • Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
