We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 RoRo Skip Driver to join a well-established waste and recycling operation based in Barking. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering stable weekday work and a competitive hourly rate.
Role Overview:
As a RoRo Skip Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery, exchange, and collection of RoRo skips at commercial and industrial sites. You’ll represent the company professionally while maintaining high safety and service standards.
Key Details:
- Location: Barking
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 6:00am
- Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
- Contract: Temp to perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting RoRo skips
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
- Completing relevant paperwork accurately
- Complying with all road traffic and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- RoRo skip driving experience preferred
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
