CDL Personnel are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers on behalf of a well-established and respected aggregates haulier based in Dunmow. The Role: As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of aggregates including sand, gravel, and other quarry materials to various sites and quarries. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are delivered on time while maintaining excellent standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently
- Delivering aggregates to construction sites, quarries, and commercial locations
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Communicating with the transport team regarding deliveries and schedules
- Maintaining high standards of customer service when dealing with site staff
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC qualification and valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tipper driving experience is essential
- A professional, reliable, and positive attitude
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Willingness to undertake any additional training if required
