We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers for a busy and professional logistics company!
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Location: Ipswich
Start Time: 7:00 AM (may vary depending on route)
Vehicle Type: Curtainsider with Tail Lift
Load Type: Palletised goods – Multi-drop
Job Description: You will be responsible for making multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods using a Class 2 Curtainsider with a tail lift. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent driving skills and a good level of physical fitness.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (CAT C) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with curtainsider vehicles and tail lifts
- Confidence with multi-drop deliveries
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach
Job Details:
- Use of a tail lift and pallet truck for loading/unloading
- Multi-drop deliveries in a timely and professional manner
- Occasional early starts – 7 AM standard, but flexibility required
- Ensuring accurate paperwork and PODs
