About the Role: As a Night Trunk Class 1 Driver, you will take charge of transporting goods safely and efficiently between distribution hubs during the night. Your shift will start at 19:00, running Monday to Friday, giving you your weekends free. Key Responsibilities:- Operate Class 1 vehicles on trunk routes, starting at 19:00 each evening
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight between depots
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle
- Comply with all road safety, legal, and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records and vehicle logs
- Report any vehicle faults or incidents promptly
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles, preferably on night shifts or long-haul routes
- Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
