Our client based in Bodiam is currently recruiting for a Yard/Quality Control Operative to join their team.
This role will be temporary to permanent for the right person.
Main Duties Following the goods in/out processes and responsible for packaging finished goods for the customer.
Working from issued drawings and signing off work as required.
After training, carrying out the quality control of completed manufactured goods.
After training, carrying out the quality control of completed powder coated goods.
Carrying out full pallet listings for our customers of the finished goods.
Ensuring all project cards are kept up to date.
Packaging of all completed projects.
To follow all processes and procedures contained within our ISO9001/BSEN1090 QMS relating to the goods in and goods out process.
Other tasks as directed by Line Manager.
Yard duties.
Preparation of planter fixings.
Forklifting responsibilities inclusive of loading/unloading lorries.
Support the management of consumables.
As and when required provide cover for the other warehouse site.
Meet performance indicators such as department invoicing targets, invoicing rates and time management.
