We are looking for an experienced Skip/RORO driver to work within the East Sussex and Kent areas for our various clients.
MAIN DUTIES
- To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business.
- Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required.
- Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users.
- Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner.
- Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limit.
- Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle.
- Check paperwork to ensure that delivery/collection loads are correct.
- Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for.
- Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have skip experience.
- RoRo experience preferable.
- Holds a full driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on Licence.
- Holds a HGV Driving Licence.
- Holds a CPC Licence.
- Holds a Digi Taco Card.
- Able to carry out manual handling tasks.
