We are recruiting for Forklift Yards persons for our client based in Rye, East Sussex. You will be a key member of a small team, working with colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their yards. You must have a valid Teletruk licence or Counterbalance licence. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right person. You must have your own transport, due to location as no public transport.
Main Duties:
- Operate Teletruk, shovel and other workplace equipment.
- Safely operate industrial vehicles to load, unload, move, and stack goods within the yards.
- Perform pre-shift safety checks on equipment, maintain a clean workspace, and follow all company safety procedures.
- The efficient organisation and storage of all materials.
- The maintenance of accurate stock records.
- The inspection and documentation of workplace equipment.
- A commitment to the Company’s values and procedures.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Must have a valid counterbalance forklift licence or a valid Teletruk licence (preferred).
- Must have previous yard work experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Good personal presentation.
- Be able to deliver a high level of customer service.
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays 7.30am to 4.30pm.
