We are looking for experienced HGV HIAB drivers to join our Company, within the Kent area and surrounding areas. All drivers must have a valid HIAB licence with hook and brick grab. Must be experienced in driving a 26 Tonne vehicle. This role could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
Main Duties
To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business
Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required
Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users
Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner
Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited
Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle
Check paperwork to that delivery/collection loads are correct
Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for
Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded
Working for various companies, throughout Kent
Essential requirements
Holds a full clean driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on LicenceHolds a HGV Driving LicenceHolds a CPC LicenceHolds a HIAB Licence with hook and brick grabHolds a Digi Tacho CardMust have experience driving a 26 Tonne vehicleGood personal presentationAble to carry out manual handling tasks
