Our Machine Shop Charge Hand will be accountable for the coordination of material, equipment, quality and meeting production schedules and customer satisfaction. About this role Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times. Monitoring and continuously improving shop floor safety, eliminating unsafe conditions. Assuring processes are followed to meet production schedules and capacity is in place to meet demand. Schedules and prioritizes resources, and adjusts staffing to meet production and customer requirements Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to agreed schedule. Evaluates, assesses, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training. Leads regular improvement discussions with team members and support departments. Monitors KPI's and initiates corrective actions when required. Drive 5s standards for work area whilst identifying and implementing improvements. Drives root cause corrective action and drives continuous improvement. Supports the development, implementation and training of SOP's. Other To adhere to CDE policy and practice.
