The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 € per year.

Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products, recording quality results. This job description is not exhaustive as other duties may be required to fulfil the requirements of the role. The Quality function is embedded in every area within CDE and will allow the applicant to build deep knowledge of our product, suppliers, customers, and each operational support function.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approving in‑process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
  • Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re‑work; confirming re‑work.
  • Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re‑work and waste; inputting data into the quality database (IFS).
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Driving root cause corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the development, implementation and training of policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating NCRs through to satisfactory closure.
  • Coordinating ISO documentation and procedures.

Required Criteria:

  • Has experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Can read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
  • Educated to HND/Degree level in an Engineering field.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic self‑starter able to work on own initiative.
  • Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations.
  • Team player.
  • Available to work flexible hours.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to sites if required.
  • Current driving licence and vehicle insured for business use.
  • Clearance to work in the UK.

Desired Criteria:

  • Weld inspection experience.
  • Paint inspection experience.
  • Technical qualification relevant to the role.
