To own the process and to be responsible for engaging with customers, fully understand the details of enquiries, provide professional knowledge of spare parts requirements, quotations and turnkey order fulfilment through to invoice. Put the customer first. Make it easy to work with CDE. Maximise Customer’s Uptime and Throughput by having a sense of urgency.
About The Role
- Customer Support & Aftermarket Excellence
- Provide professional after-sales guidance and expert parts knowledge to recommend the best solutions for customers.
- Respond to customer enquiries with urgency, ensuring all details are accurately captured in CRM systems.
- Prepare accurate, timely quotations and support the achievement of spares sales targets.
- Process confirmed orders in line with internal standards and procedures.
- Upsell CustomCare services where relevant to enhance customer value.
- Operational Ownership & Process Control
- Monitor and follow up fabricated item progress with Design and Production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure all chargeable elements (parts, carriage, labour, subsistence) are fully and accurately invoiced.
- Maintain live, accurate customer data and ensure all customer queries are tracked through to closure.
- Support regional CustomCare teams with daily operational queries.
- Review open orders with Parts Co-ordinator.
- Stock, Inventory & Demand Management
- Manage CustomCare stock across global regions, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained to maximise uptime.
- Oversee demand reporting to ensure stock is utilised effectively and not tied to inactive project allocations.
- Review inventory transaction history to ensure correct usage of CC stock.
- Commercial, Pricing & Inter-Company Activities
- Create new sales parts across all sites as required.
- Manage pricing lists, including exchange rates, price increases, and system nodes, ensuring accuracy for all regions.
- Complete inter-company orders for Inc, AUS, and EUR where applicable.
- Business Growth & Account Development
- Convert inactive accounts into active customers through proactive follow-up via phone and email.
- Review historical buying behaviour and understand current supplier relationships.
- Identify what is required to win back business and increase qualified opportunities within CustomCare.
- Leadership, Training & Regional Support
- Train and support new team members to ensure strong onboarding and continuous capability development.
- Provide in-country support visits to international regions when required.
