Job Purpose
As an electrical engineer at CDE, you will be at the heart of designing smart, efficient, and environmentally conscious solutions used across the world. You will transform customer requirements into high-quality electrical designs that power our cutting-edge processing systems. About The Role
What you will do:
- Transform customer requirements into robust, compliant, and efficiently manufactured electrical systems for world-class wet-processing solutions.
- Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and interpret client requirements into practical electrical designs.
- Create detailed control and power distribution panel drawings and general arrangements to the latest standards and safety regulations.
- Specify site-specific cables, components, and plant electrics; prepare documentation for testing, inspection, and commissioning.
- Apply IEE 18th Edition requirements, manage CE Marking obligations, and compile the electrical section of Technical Files.
- Drive cost and cycle-time improvements, stay current with technological advances and global legislation, and collaborate closely with suppliers.
- Use EPLAN and AutoCAD to deliver high-quality drawings aligned to company processes and quality systems; contribute to continuous improvement and project reviews.

Required Criteria
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years' relevant experience.
- BOM creation; strong analytical and problem-solving capability; clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences; excellent organisation and prioritisation.
- Proficiency with Windows-based tools, AutoCAD, and EPLAN; familiarity with quality reviews and process control systems; sound project management aptitude.
