We are seeking a dedicated Commissioning Engineer to play a crucial part in this mission. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning designated projects, ensuring that all plant systems and components are installed, tested, operated, and maintained to meet the customer's operational requirements. You will be a key figure in delivering our projects safely and efficiently, contributing directly to our efforts in minimising environmental impact and building the foundations for a circular economy. About The Role

As a Commissioning Engineer at CDE, your day-to-day will be dynamic and hands-on. You'll be site-based, travelling extensively across the UK and worldwide to bring our innovative wet processing plants to life. Your responsibilities will span the full MEICA spectrum, from providing commissioning services to delivering complex engineering solutions and troubleshooting on-site issues. You'll work closely with a diverse team of specialists, construction managers, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

This role offers fantastic growth opportunities, allowing you to deepen your expertise in 3-phase systems, instrumentation, and automation. Required Criteria

  • Electrical Qualification or Certificate of Education or Equivalent.
  • 3 years' service/commissioning experience in a relevant engineering industry.
  • Experience in MS Office Word & Excel.
  • Experience with control panel fault finding.
  • Experience with 3-phase systems.
  • Good planning & Organisational Skills.
  • Effective communicator – both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Must be a self-starter and methodical.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting items, climbing ladders and working at height.
  • Willing to undertake extensive travel, both in the UK and Worldwide for extended periods.
  • Clearance to work in Europe.

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with heavy machinery.
  • Experience in dealing with customers.
  • Fully conversant with all Health & safety regulations.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • MEWPS training.
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint.
  • PLC experience.
  • Ability to carry out training (preferably holding a Training qualification).
  • Clean current driving license.
