About The Role
Job Purpose
Working alongside the Accounts Payable team as an Account Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, answering supplier queries in a timely manner and completing supplier statement reconciliations. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for CDE and will be expected to embody our CDE Values by providing a high quality and responsive reception service. In this role you will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls and provide administrative support across the organisation as required.
Responsibilities
- Processing Invoices through Readsoft
- Responding to Supplier email queries
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Support the finance department with any other duties
- Travel Cover
- Reception Duties
- Ensure that all telephone calls are answered in a friendly and efficient manner to company standard.
- Screening and directing external calls accordingly and where possible providing guidance/solutions to call queries.
- Welcoming all visitors to site in a professional manner.
- Assisting with internal communications as requested: i.e., group emails etc when requested.
- Separate and deliver incoming post and distribute to relevant department
- Managing outgoing post including Franking to ensure post is processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure the visitor book is accurately maintained.
- Ensure the reception area is kept tidy.
- General Administration for all areas of the business.

Required Criteria
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- GCSE grade C or above in Mathβs and English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good planning & Organising Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills and Telephone Manner
- Dependable and reliable
- Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter able to work on own initiative
- Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations
