Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Support Manager

This is anexciting opportunity to be support CDDFTs Emergency Preparedness, resilienceand response service. Main duties of the job
The role iscritical for the Trust in ensuring delivery of the Trusts EPRR strategy and compliancewith the EPRR Core Standards.
The postholder will:-
Actautonomously and proactively under the Head of EPRR and the Trust ResilienceForum to deliver and maintain of the Trusts EmergencyPreparedness, Resilience and Response
Be responsible for ensuring the success ofproject activities such as benefit realisation or change management
Attend health and multi-agency EPRR groups providing healthliaison and input as well as administrative support.
Act in a supportive leadership role to EPRR by providing expertadvice to the incident management team and ensuring preparedness for any majoror business continuity incident
Participate in the risk assessment process, including identifying,quantifying and recording risks.
Prepare and maintain the Local Health Resilience Partnership(LHRP) Risk Register.
Support the Head of EPRR in the delivery of training andexercises, including exercise development and co-ordination of exercises andtraining courses.
Buildand manage relationships within the supply chain to maximise the benefits bydovetailing plans together

- Developing plans to improve business continuity capabilities across the organisation
- Experience of organising workshops and events
- Implementation of corporate business continuity policies
- Evidence of applying project management skills including planning and organising resources to support implementation / effective risk management / performance monitoring and evaluation
- Evidence of successful collaborative and partnership working within and across organisations
- Evidence of taking the initiative and demonstrating drive, commitment and self-motivation
Desirable
- Experience in auditing Business Continuity Management Systems
- Experience leading on business continuity policy development and the assistance to implement across the organisation
- Experience in organising and facilitating Business Continuity / Emergency Planning exercises
- Proven track record of working in health, social care or private sector, leading and supporting individuals to write Business Continuity Plans
- Demonstrable success in the field of Business Continuity / Emergency Planning

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Postgraduate diploma level qualification or equivalent experience in relevant area
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
- Commitment to achieve a Diploma in Health Emergency Preparedness
Desirable
- Emergency Planning and/or Business Continuity certificate
- Knowledge of NHS Englands Core Standards
- Member (or willing to work towards) of the BCI or equivalent
- Proficient and up to date specialist knowledge of Business Continuity regulations, international standards, policies and procedures
- In depth knowledge of ISO22301
