County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Lead Medical Examiner to lead the Medical Examiner Service across the Trust. You will provide clinical leadership to a team of Medical Examiners and ensure deaths not referred to the Coroner are scrutinised in line with national guidance.
You will support bereaved families, improve patient safety, and contribute to learning from deaths, working with the Coroner’s Office, Bereavement Services and governance teams.
