The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be working as part of an established team in a decontamination environment, delivering a professional service to the NHS trust. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Endoscopes are cleaned and packaged to the correct high standards ready for patient use. This role offers a great opportunity to develop a career in a specialist decontamination role with excellent career pathway opportunities.
Main Duties of the Job
- Perform Leakage tests on all scopes
- Pre-Clean all scopes as per the manufacturers guidelines
- Decontaminate flexible scopes using the automated washer disinfectors
- Complete all necessary scanning and administration as part of the tracking system for each scope
- Support and lead decontamination technicians on a daily basis
- Act as the point of contact for the endoscopy services on all sites

- Night Shift Working Allowances (where appropriate)
- Bank Holiday Working Allowances (where appropriate)
- Bank work is offered on an 'as and when' basis with no guaranteed hours and will be paid on a pro-rata hourly rate for hours worked only
