About the Role:
We are seeking professional, reliable, and self-motivated Self-Employed Trade Plate Drivers to join our team, delivering vehicles across the UK. As a Trade Plate Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles to various locations nationwide, ensuring timely and safe transportation while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collect and deliver vehicles to clients, dealerships, and other locations across the UK.
– Plan efficient travel routes to ensure timely deliveries.
– Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after transport, reporting any issues promptly.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and expenses.
– Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliveries.
– Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
– Represent the company professionally, maintaining a neat appearance and courteous demeanor.
Requirements:
– Valid UK driving licence with a clean or near-clean driving record (maximum 6 points).
– Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in trade plate or vehicle delivery roles.
– Ability to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays when required.
– Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
– Professional and neat appearance to uphold company standards.
– Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
– Knowledge of UK road networks and confidence in navigating unfamiliar routes.
– Physically fit to handle long driving hours and vehicle inspections.
– Self-employed status with appropriate insurance and tax arrangements in place.
