The Company

Our client is a rapidly scaling AI company, with $16M in early funding and a client list that includes industry giants like Goldman Sachs. They are redefining what’s possible in data-driven decision-making. Now building out teams in London and New York, they are looking for a Product Engineer ready to help push the boundaries of intelligent automation.

The Opportunity

This role blends engineering, product strategy, and customer success into one. You’ll act as the technical lead for a high-priority client - designing, building, and deploying AI-powered products that directly impact their business outcomes. You won’t just build software. You’ll shape the direction of the product, working closely with stakeholders, iterating fast, and solving meaningful problems with the latest AI technology. Ideal for someone looking to grow into a CTO or VP of Engineering role, this is an opportunity to gain real ownership, fast.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and deliver scalable, production-grade AI systems tailored to a high-profile customer.
  • Collaborate closely with client teams to deeply understand their challenges and translate these into impactful solutions.
  • Own the full lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and iteration.
  • Work across engineering, product, and strategy - acting as a trusted technical partner.
  • Operate autonomously, with the support of a wider AI and product team behind you.

What Success Looks Like in This Role - Within the first 30 days, you’ve fully onboarded and established a strong understanding of the customer’s priorities, the product landscape, and internal tools. By day 60, you’re leading delivery on a critical work stream and translating customer pain points into AI-driven features or solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong Python and React skills.
  • Hands-on experience building or deploying solutions using LLMs or generative AI technologies.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience from a top-tier institution or program.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and a genuine passion for using technology to solve hard problems.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-moving technology environments.
  • A strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Why This Role Stands Out?

  • Build end-to-end AI products that have real, visible impact on global financial organisations.
  • Be on a fast track to engineering leadership - this role is designed for future CTOs and VPs.
  • Work in a team that values autonomy, innovation, and direct ownership.
  • Be part of one of the most exciting AI companies operating in finance today.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive equity offering, private healthcare, pension scheme, and flexible holiday policy and access to a network of mentors, executives, and AI specialists.
