About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Distribution Coordinator to join our team in Bolton. This is an essential administrative role, providing day-to-day support to the distribution function, ensuring accurate scheduling, reporting, and smooth logistical operations.
As part of a dynamic team, you\'ll coordinate internal and external communications, maintain key records, and help ensure our delivery operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with our company standards.
What You\'ll Be Doing
Provide administrative and scheduling support to the distribution team
Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards while identifying areas for efficiency improvements
Support compliance with Health & Safety, food safety, and accident reporting procedures
Coordinate with drivers and teams to resolve delivery issues, breakdowns, or incidents
Communicate effectively across departments, customers, and external maintenance suppliers
Contribute to a strong team culture by building relationships and working collaboratively

What We\'re Looking For
Essential:
Previous experience in an administrative role (preferably logistics/distribution)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
Organised, analytical, and confident with problem-solving
Desirable:
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Understanding of Operators Licence regulations, driver telematics, or Tachograph/WTD regulations
