We are recruiting for a grab lorry driver to join our growing team. CD Fencing & Construction Services Ltd is a well-established, reputable company that operates all over the UK. We carry out 24 hour Maintenance for Highways and are based in Chippenham and Stanton St Quinton.
Main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Working in the yard
- Driving to site, collecting and distributing waste as directed.
- Working alongside highway maintenance repair crews and helping out on site where required.
Pay: £150 - £180 per shift dependent on experience.

Hours: 50 hours per week, predominantly nights Monday – Friday. We operate a ‘job and knock’ system which means that working hours can vary as they are dependent on the amount of time it takes to finish the job. Predominantly night work.
Preferred but not essential:
- Haulage experience within the construction industry
Essential:
- Lorry loader hook and clamshell qualification being either CPCS or ALLM
- Valid C or C+E License held for 2 Years.
- Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes).
- CPC Learning Credits
- Happy to work majority nights
- Good level of English.
- Good knowledge of the UK road network.
- Good knowledge of Domestic and EU Rules
