What you\’ll do at work
CCT Worldwide are looking for 2 apprentices to join the customer service team working within the Warehouse Division. You will undertake the nationally recognised Supply Chain Warehouse apprenticeship. The successful candidates will gain expert knowledge within the warehouse environment. This apprenticeship is a route into a career in logistics and customer service.
Duties would include:
- Physically handle cargo inbound and out to the satisfaction of the business, both manually and mechanically
- Liaise with UK colleagues to process transport bookings
- Monitor inbound cargo and stock levels to provide customers and team members with timely updates via online portal
- Deal with customer and overseas partner queries
- Learn and manage customs requirements around bonded and customs approved warehousing
- Handle fulfilment for e-commerce clients, including Amazon bound cargoes

Supply chain warehouse operative (level 2)
- Conduct risk assessments within the working environment.
- Apply safe working practices in line with associated health and safety legislation and company policy.
- Receive products in line with organisational procedures.
- Store and pick products in line with organisational procedures.
- Dispatch products in line with organisational procedures.
- Decant, pack products in line with organisational procedures.
- Communicate with others verbally, for example internal and external customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Communicate in writing with others, for example internal and external customers, colleagues and managers.
- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- Support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and elevate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
- Carry out and record learning and development activities.
- Conduct handover activities.
- Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- On and off the job training and location to be confirmed
- On the job training delivered by the employer
- Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the endpoint assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeship English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3.
- Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training
- Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop
- Identify, track and support 6 hours off the job training activities
- Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next steps
Hours and Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm, includes 1‑hour lunch. 40 hours a week. Start date: Sunday 4 January 2026. Duration: 1 year.
Requirements
GCSE in Maths and English (grade A‑C/ 4‑9).
