To assist CCS Human Resources Department. Responsible for the digitization of employee record files. The position will primarily be responsible for supporting the digitization of the employee record files; this includes scanning hardcopy documents and uploading these documents to SharePoint.

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department and assistance with various projects (when applicable). Ensure the integrity of the digitization of HR documentation and data. Complete projects and tasks in compliance with relevant employment-related legislation and accreditation standards (where applicable). Communicate and collaborate with the HR Team on a regular basis to review progress and discuss findings and recommendations to ensure mutual buy-in and fit with Agency direction. Other duties as assigned to support the HR Team.

Time Commitment: 5 days/week (Monday to Friday) 9:00am – 4:30 pm. Estimated duration: 2 to 4 months.

Job Requirements:

  • Working towards or completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of human resources theories and practices.
  • Knowledge of current labour and employment legislation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, e-mail, scanning, internet use.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, OneDrive, & Teams required.
  • Strong desire to use professional skills and knowledge to make a difference in the not-for-profit, community services sector.
