Salary: £29,669 to £30,824 FTE (pro rata for 20 hours), depending on skills and experience

About the role
Working closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, you will play a key role in supporting our people, maintaining compliance and helping our office environment run smoothly.
Key responsibilities include
- Coordinating HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation monitoring, employee records and contractual changes.
- Supporting recruitment activity, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, coordinating pre-employment checks and communicating with candidates.
- Maintaining accurate HR, safeguarding and compliance records and supporting organisational reporting requirements.
- Providing first-line support on HR processes and policies, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Supporting health and safety, data protection and compliance activities through effective administration and record-keeping.
- Coordinating office administration, supplies, room bookings and relationships with external providers.
- Helping to improve processes and systems while ensuring colleagues have the information and support they need.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in HR administration, recruitment, office management or a similar business support role.
- Is highly organised and able to manage a varied workload effectively.
- Has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working with confidential information.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys building positive working relationships
- Is confident using Microsoft 365 and organisational systems.
- Is proactive, approachable and enjoys working as part of a small, collaborative team.
Experience of HR systems, facilities coordination, compliance administration or working in the charity, education, social care or public sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
