Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst / BCBA in the Reading School District working in partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU).

$5,000 - Sign on bonus: Eligible to BCBAs in ACS that are hired for a minimum of 25 billable hours. Bonus of $2,500: 1st installment after the first billable service. Second installment of $2,500 issued 90 days after hire.

The school-based Behavior Analyst / BCBA position is $75-$79 per hour based on years of experience as a BCBA (independent contractor / 1099). School-based hours Monday through Friday. Emotional Support Experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and write reports summarizing results.
  • Develop positive behavioral supports utilizing evidence-based interventions.
  • Assess a student’s instructional needs and develop appropriate programming.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of student data and make programming adjustments as needed.
  • Develop tools and work with staff to collect progress-monitoring data on behavioral goals.
  • Train staff on positive behavior support plans and instructional programs and monitor fidelity.
Skills:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive skills in behavioral assessment and positive behavior support plan development.
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team atmosphere.
  • Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related program.
  • BCBA certification.
  • Working experience after BCBA certification.
Credentials:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Current Certificate.
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts.
  • Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Clearances current within 12 months: PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance, PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance, PA Department of Education FBI Use code: 1KG6XN, TB screening - current within 3 months.

Bonus will be issued if the new hire commits to 25 billable hours; if that is not achieved in 90 days, the second installment will not be provided. The school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst / BCBA is an independent contract (1099) position. No benefits are associated with this role.
