I am representing a leading building services and project delivery business seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join a high-profile, multi-million-pound project in Central London.
So what is the role? You will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical building services, including power, lighting, life safety, controls and specialist electrical systems. Working closely with clients, consultants and trade contractors, you will provide electrical leadership from design development through to commissioning and project close-out.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the electrical engineering function on the project
- Manage electrical design development, coordination and compliance
- Support programme delivery, health & safety, quality and commissioning
- Provide technical input into procurement and contractor appointments
- Review contracts, scopes, value engineering and commercial impacts
- Develop and deliver electrical commissioning strategies, including IST and integrated testing
- Manage close-out activities, including as-built information, O&M manuals and client training
- Identify risks, drive continuous improvement and support net-zero objectives
Now, let's talk about you!
- Electrical trade, technical or graduate background
- HNC/HND/BTEC (or equivalent) in electrical or building services engineering
- SMSTS and CSCS
- Strong experience delivering complex electrical or MEP packages (ideally £25m+)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially aware, analytical and collaborative
