Freelance Site Engineer – HS2 Project (Outside IR35 – £300/day) Location: Near East Acton Contract: 6 Months (Outside IR35) Rate: £300 per day Start Date: 17th March CCR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a leading utilities contractor on a prestigious HS2 project near East Acton. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in ITPs, As-Laid drawings, and Handover folders. Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing site activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications * Preparing and reviewing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) * Producing accurate As-Laid documentation and supporting the handover process * Ensuring smooth project completion with detailed Handover folders * Liaising effectively with site teams and stakeholders Requirements: * Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure or utilities projects * Strong understanding of HS2 procedures and documentation * Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken * Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently * Available to start on 17th March This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Site Engineer looking for a long-term contract with competitive day rates and high-profile project exposure.
