A well-established engineering consultancy near Woking, Surrey, is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across the built environment, including retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and infrastructure developments.
Location: Near Woking, Surrey (Hybrid – approx. 3 days in the office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering aspects of building projects
- Liaise with clients and project teams
- Undertake drainage design (SUDS, MicroDrainage) and external works for developments
- Prepare S278 submissions and liaise with utility providers and highways authorities
Requirements:
- Chartered or near-chartered (ICE/IStructE)
- Hands-on design experience with UK building structures and civil engineering works
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage projects
- Experience in mentoring and supervising others (desirable)
