About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor is seeking to recruit three Graduate professionals to join its project delivery teams. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience across live construction and infrastructure projects, with structured development and clear progression pathways within a supportive, fast-growing organisation.
Role Overview
The successful candidates will join either the Commercial or Project Delivery function, depending on background and career aspirations. You will work closely with experienced professionals, supporting the delivery of projects safely, on time and within budget, while developing core technical, commercial and management skills.
- Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cost planning, measurement and procurement activities.
- Support preparation of valuations, variations and cost reports.
- Maintain accurate commercial and contractual documentation.
- Assist in tracking project costs, forecasting and budgets.
- Work closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial control.
- Graduate Project Manager - Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects.
- Assist senior project and site managers with daily operational activities.
- Monitor programme progress and report on key milestones.
- Support health & safety, quality and compliance processes.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with project documentation, reporting and coordination.
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Degree in a relevant construction or civil engineering discipline, such as:
- Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
- Construction Management
- Civil Engineering
- Project Management (construction-focused)
- Structural or Building Engineering
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, motivated and eager to develop a career in construction.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Desirable
- Previous industry exposure (placement year, internship or site experience).
- Basic understanding of construction processes, cost control or project delivery.
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards one).
