Overview
For our UK team, we are looking for a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead our end-to-end Supply Chain function, covering Procurement through to Logistics. The role can be based in our office in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, or operated on a hybrid basis, with regular presence in the office as required.

Reporting to the Area Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the operational Supply Chain in the UK, ensuring reliable customer deliveries, effective procurement and material availability while managing costs and working capital. You will lead a team including two Procurement Specialists, and work closely with Operations, Service, Finance and other stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the UK Supply Chain team, including two Procurement Specialists.
- Manage the end-to-end Supply Chain, from procurement and supplier management through material planning and logistics to customer delivery.
- Ensure on-time delivery, material availability and continuity of supply while minimising disruptions.
- Drive supplier performance, sourcing initiatives, cost savings, contract management and supplier base optimisation, including dual sourcing and low-cost sourcing where appropriate.
- Own Supply Chain budgeting, forecasting, savings reporting and working capital initiatives.
- Drive standardisation, process optimisation and continuous improvement across Supply Chain and Procurement.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, margins and overall Supply Chain performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the wider regional and international Supply Chain organisation.
- Lead or support regional and international sourcing, benchmarking and Supply Chain improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or a comparable function, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing or project-oriented environment.
- Proven experience in both Procurement and Supply Chain/Logistics, with a good understanding of the end-to-end process.
- Previous experience in leading and developing a team.
- Strong commercial understanding, including supplier management, purchasing, cost optimisation and working capital.
- Experience driving process improvements and influencing business performance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across different levels and functions.
- Pragmatic, analytical and solution-oriented approach with a strong hands-on mindset.
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
