Responsibilities

This position is for a Service Dispatcher/Planner who is under moderate supervision. Responsible for reviewing customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and ensures this information entered on order forms is accurate. Answers moderately complex customer inquiries on product availability, maintenance, and the status of orders. Relies on moderate experience and judgment to accomplish assigned tasks. Works under moderate supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service. Resolves moderately complex customers' service or billing complaints. Maintains and audits records of customer interactions or transactions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of refrigeration products and services, with the ability to answer customer inquiries on product availability, maintenance, and order status.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve moderately complex customer service or billing complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurately entering customer information, product specifications, and reviewing job sheets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and field engineers.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively, ensuring timely dispatch of jobs and maintenance of records.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using dispatch consoles, data reporting tools, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office or similar).
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with the service desk team and field engineers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
