For the Supply Chain department, we are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant who will join our UK team. The role will be office based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire or working remotely, but some visits to the office will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for materials
  • Managing the stock levels of the various article groups
  • Control hire equipment
  • PPE ordering
  • Indirect (Non project) orders
  • Management of cylinders
  • Planning transport (inbound)
  • Arrange local transport (outbound)
  • Total Logistic Costs reporting
  • Back-up for SC country lead

Qualifications:

  • Educated to at least A level preferred
  • Experience with an ERP (BAAN) system or willingness to learn it
  • You are professional, cost-conscious and commercial in your dealings
  • You are results-oriented, representative, have perseverance and are eager to learn
  • You also have good communication skills, have persuasive powers, keep an overview and are stress-resistant
