Contract Length: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm or 9:00am–6:00pm
Pay: £16.14 per hour (all-inclusive)

About the Role

We’re seeking an articulate and professional Customer Service Advisor to join a busy distribution centre in Slough. Acting as the first point of contact, you’ll support customers via face-to-face walk-ins, phone calls, and predominantly email communications. You’ll assist with parcel collections, delivery enquiries, and internal coordination - ensuring accuracy, empathy, and efficiency at all times.

This is an office/warehouse-based role. For health and safety, high-vis jackets and safety boots are required (and provided). No heavy lifting involved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries face-to-face, over the phone, and primarily via email
  • Support parcel tracking, collections, and delivery queries
  • Accurately log information and updates in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal teams through email communication
  • Maintain professional, clear, and consistent customer communication

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, calm, and customer-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and CRM/data entry skills
  • Previous experience in customer service or a distribution environment is advantageous
