Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Sales Manager to lead, develop, and inspire a team of Sales Managers within a high-performing contact centre sales operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused leader who excels at driving performance through people, coaching high-performing management teams, and delivering exceptional commercial results within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

As Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping sales performance across multiple teams. You will be responsible for developing Sales Managers, driving a culture of accountability and excellence, and ensuring the consistent delivery of both revenue and customer outcomes. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help influence strategy, improve operational performance, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Package

  • Basic Salary: £47,400
  • Uncapped Commission Structure
  • Realistic OTE: £75,000 - £90,000
  • Manchester City Centre Location
  • Full-Time, Office-Based Position
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & People Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Managers, ensuring they have the tools, support, and direction needed to succeed.
    • Create a high-performance culture built on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
    • Support succession planning and talent development across the wider sales function.
  • Performance & KPI Management
    • Take ownership of key sales and operational performance metrics across multiple teams.
    • Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Drive consistent achievement of revenue, conversion, productivity, and quality targets.
  • Coaching & Continuous Improvement
    • Deliver effective coaching and development programmes that enhance leadership capability and sales performance.
    • Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and structured development plans.
    • Champion best practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
  • Operational Leadership
    • Maintain visibility across daily sales activity, providing hands-on support and guidance when required.
    • Ensure operational processes support business objectives and customer outcomes.
    • Work proactively to remove barriers to performance and maximise team effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional departments to support wider business objectives.
    • Contribute to strategic planning, sales initiatives, and operational improvements.
    • Promote a collaborative, values-led culture across the organisation.
  • Customer-Centric Sales Excellence
    • Ensure all sales activity is conducted ethically, compliantly, and with customer outcomes at the forefront.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Senior Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Contact Centre Manager, or Operations Manager role.
  • Strong track record of leading leaders within a target-driven sales environment.
  • Demonstrable success in coaching, developing, and improving management performance.
  • Excellent understanding of KPI management, sales performance, and operational delivery.
  • Highly commercial mindset with the ability to influence, motivate, and drive results.
