CCP are delighted to be working with a growing client in Stevenage who are looking to appoint a hands-on and proactive Customer Service Team Leader to support their dedicated customer service team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous team leadership or supervisory experience within a customer service environment who is ready to take the next step in their career.

As the Customer Service Team Leader, you'll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of a small but busy customer service team. You'll be the go-to person for escalations, process queries, and coaching support - helping your team stay focused and deliver excellent service across calls and emails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated customer queries and team support
  • Monitor workloads and ensure service levels are consistently met
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to internal processes
  • Support with onboarding and training of new staff
  • Promote a positive and collaborative working environment

Must Have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service team leader, supervisor, or senior advisor role
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead by example, supporting and motivating others
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence in learning new systems

You'll receive full training on the company's internal systems and processes, but you must be prepared to lead from the front. You'll be supporting your team to work efficiently, remain customer-focused, and continually improve.
