Due to our ever increasing workload, an opportunity has arisen within the practice for a Building Surveyor/Project Manager in our Preston office.

CCO Building Consultancy wish to appoint a building surveyor/project manager to join our busy building surveying team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

  • Managing instructions from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrating and providing high level core building surveying skills.
  • Coordinating client and contractor liaison.

The scope of work that the successful candidate would be involved with includes:-

  • Preparation of designs and specifications.
  • Contracts administration.
  • Project monitoring and management.

Personal skills & experience

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:-

  • Have held a building surveyor/project manager position within a similar organisation.
  • Exceptional core building surveying skills.
  • A good working knowledge of CDM regulations.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • A commitment to extend their professional knowledge through a chosen specialisation in their field.
  • Personal experience of CAD packages is essential.
  • A current and clean driving license.

Package

A comprehensive package will be offered to the successful candidate who can demonstrate that they can fulfil the requirements detailed above .
