We are currently recruiting for a Final Inspection Operative for our in Castleford.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally. You will be organised, have excellent attention to detail with a flexible attitude, be a team player and have the ability to work to a high standard providing a quality service to all customers.
The Role
As a Final Inspection Operative, you will be essential in ensuring that products meet quality standards before they are dispatched. Working as part of a line team to ensure a quality service is provided to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Running both Rotoflex & ABG inspection machines.
- Read and understand dockets and CMS to obtain relevant information.
- Complete all relevant paperwork.
- Accurate input of in-house data capture computer systems.
- Set machine for product examination following customer specification.
- Complete final inspection.
- Reporting any quality shortfalls / quality issues.
- Identify finished reels and finish to customer specification.
- Complete line clear out.
- Take responsibility for their own and others health and safety in the working environment.
- Understand the Company Quality, Hygiene and Environmental Policies in relation to the relevant standards (specifically BS EN ISO 9001: 2015 & PS9000:2016) and actively promote these within the business.
