Our client is a leading technology company working in the utilities sector. They are looking for an Enterprise Sales Lead to manage the Benelux region:
This is a key sales role working with a team of laser focused professionals who are introducing our client to new organizations across Benelux. We’re looking for someone ready to take the next step with their career in sales. This position is an autonomous role working closely with the SVP Sales, to continue to build and grow this region. The primary duty of the Sales Director / Executive is to build the Benelux region’s sales activities by connecting with potential customers, identifying relevant customer needs and building relationships that lead to opportunities and converting sales opportunities to actual sales (with the support of the technical team).
Travel within the region to conduct face to face and/or virtual sales meetings
Lead consultative, value-based sales of complex SaaS and simulation software solutions to strategic accounts including utilities, grid operators, regulators, and large industrials.
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to the regulatory landscape, market maturity, and customer needs in both Benelux and France.
Pipeline Generation & Management: Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature, ensuring accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Pre-Sales, Solutions, Legal, and Marketing to tailor proposals, run POCs, and address complex commercial and technical requirements.

Account Expansion & Retention working closely with the Customer Success Team to build long-term customer relationships with a focus on renewals, upsells, and expanding client SaaS platform adoption across business units.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about regulatory trends, competitive movements, and innovation across electricity, gas, hydrogen, decarbonisation and other sectors in the region.
10+ years of proven experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, business development, or consulting, preferably in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
~ Demonstrated success in selling to the Energy, Utilities, Renewables, or Oil & Gas sectors within Benelux
~ Strong track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and delivering revenue growth across large enterprise accounts.
~ Extensive customer-facing experience leading digital transformation or energy transition initiatives, with ownership of large, strategic accounts or projects.
~ Proven ability to drive new business in a developing and competitive market, leveraging a solution-based, consultative sales approach.
~ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with C-level stakeholders and technical buyers alike.
~ Familiarity with modelling software, energy systems, or market simulation tools is an advantage.
~ Comfortable operating in cross-functional teams including Pre-Sales, Legal, Product, and Marketing.
~ Willingness and flexibility to travel across Benelux, France, and occasionally other regions as needed
~ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Communications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
~ Fluent in both English and French for UK based role or a Dutch speaker for Netherland based candidate
