CCL Facades, part of Caddick Construction Group, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a major Leeds project. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage project costs, subcontract accounts and contractual matters from procurement through to final account, protecting the project’s commercial position and supporting profitable delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost plans, forecasts and monthly CVRs.
- Procure subcontract packages, assess tenders and negotiate commercial terms.
- Measure and value completed work, prepare payment applications, and assess subcontractor valuations.
- Identify, price, submit and agree variations, compensation events and contractual claims.
- Manage subcontract accounts, payment notices, cash flow and final account settlement.
- Advise the project team on cost, risk, value engineering and contract compliance.
Skills And Experience
- Proven contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience, ideally within façades or specialist subcontracting.
- Strong measurement, subcontract procurement, valuation, variation and final-account experience.
- Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts, payment procedures and construction law.
- Confident preparing CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports, with strong negotiation skills.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
