About the Role
As a Catering and Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and servicing of a wide range of commercial catering, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment across hotels, restaurants, nursing homes, schools, corporate offices, and more!
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial catering and refrigeration equipment, including fryers, dishwashers, Rational ovens, cookers, fridges, walk-in chillers/freezers, extraction fans, AC/ventilation systems, and other gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Carry out routine service and maintenance work to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform fault diagnosis and problem-solving with a proactive approach.
- Work closely with customers to ensure service is delivered to the highest standards.
- Take a flexible approach to tasks, with training provided for working on a variety of equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Time-served multi-skilled engineer with strong technical expertise.
- Comcat/commercial catering qualifications or any relevant gas qualification.
- Relevant electrical qualification, such as 17th/18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ, or HNC.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- F-Gas refrigeration qualification or relevant repair experience (advantageous).
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a can-do attitude.
