Location: Croydon | Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term | Hours: 35 per week | Type: Hybrid (1‑4 days in office) Salary: £59,452.64 per annum Reports to: Director of Homes (DOH)
About the role
- Lead on the operational development and performance of Repairs Services and support the stock investment function, including the effective management and delivery of all repairs and maintenance related contracts.
- Support DOH in Strategic Development of service in line with regulatory requirements and continuous improvements.
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant policies, procedures and working practices including strategies, procurement and contract management systems are compliant and deliver value for money.
- Support active asset management in conjunction with the Asset Manager.
- Contribute to the wider Management Team and the continued development of ccha.
- Act as one of our Health and Safety Co‑ordinators for designated areas of responsibility.
- Undertake research on complex issues, translating strategies and policies into operating principles and recommending courses of action or changes to policies and procedures across the organisation.
- Promote, develop and manage effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve continuous improvement in the provision of services and provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Work within the ccha’s policies at all times and in all aspects of service delivery and employment.
- Ensure that ccha and its employees comply with all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements along with best practice.
What you’ll bring
- Experience leading repairs, maintenance or asset management services within housing or property sectors.
- Strong contract management and budget monitoring skills.
- Knowledge of housing regulations, compliance and health and safety.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Basic DBS check.
- Full UK driving licence.
