Christadelphian Care Homes exists mainly, although not exclusively, to care for members of the Christadelphian Faith. We operate a number of Care Homes and Sheltered Housing schemes throughout the UK and are able to deliver care tailored to individual needs from low support through to residential, nursing and specialised care, including dementia. Here at Christadelphian Care Homes we are committed to providing the highest quality individual care and support, and a happy and enjoyable atmosphere ensuring that residents are fully involved. Our aim is to enable our residents to us to lead fulfilling lives and participate in regular activities, individually tailored to residents' wishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver a variety of activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
- Create a welcoming and stimulating environment that promotes wellbeing.
- Encourage resident participation in both group and one-to-one activities.
- Work closely with colleagues, residents, and their families to ensure activities meet individual needs.
- Assist in organising special events, outings, and entertainment.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, offering companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
Person Specification
- Highly organised with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
- A creative and imaginative approach, with an infectious positive outlook.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- A genuine passion for working with older people, with an acute awareness of their needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
