Job Description CCH Recruitment acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting 3 experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client, in North West London. \n These HGV Class 2 Driver positions are immediately available for the right candidates. \n This role would be subject to a permanent contract after a successful 12 week temp to perm period. Key Duties \n \n \n Drive a Class 2 vehicle for commercial waste collections across NW7 and surrounding areas. \n \n Carry out safe and compliant waste collection, transport, and disposal activities. \n \n Complete daily vehicle walk-around checks and report defects immediately. \n \n Follow all route plans, collection schedules, and client instructions. \n \n Ensure waste is loaded, secured, and transported safely. \n \n Operate vehicle equipment safely (e.g., tail-lift, bin lifts, site machinery where trained). \n \n Maintain accurate paperwork, PODs, and any required collection notes. \n \n Communicate professionally with customers, site staff, and the transport office. \n Requirements \n \n \n Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence. \n \n Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card. \n \n Previous waste, recycling, or environmental services experience preferred but not essential. \n \n Good knowledge of London driving, restrictions, and safety rules. \n \n Ability to follow health & safety procedures and work safely on active sites. \n \n Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. \n Hours & Pay \n \n \n Monday - Friday £19 per hour ( inclusive of holiday pay) \n \n Permanent annual salary of £39,000 \n \n Average working day 06:00am -15:00 \n \n 8 hours minimum pay per day. \n \n Weekly pay during the \"temp to perm\" period. \n Requirements \n \n \n Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence. \n \n Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card. \n \n Previous waste, recycling, or environmental services experience preferred but not essential. \n \n Good knowledge of London driving, restrictions, and safety rules. \n \n Ability to follow health & safety procedures and work safely on active sites. \n \n Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. \n \n \nIf you are interested in the above position, please apply and a member of the team will give you a call to discuss further. \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
